The Investment Chapter of US-Korea Free Trade Agreement includes substantive provisions and procedural provisions. The substantive provisions are mainly reflected in the articles of definition, compensation for expropriation, transfer, performance requirements and non-conforming measures, which represent high level of investment protection and liberalization.
