高校教师是对学术工作负有职业责任,以高深知识为基础进行教学、科研和社会服务的群体。探究高深知识、享有学术自由、承担教育教学职责构成高校教师的基本特性。以教育教学为核心的高校教师质量包含四个层次:理念、情感、学养和行为。教育理念是教师质量的核心,对学生的情感是教师质量的基础,个人学养是教学质量的必备条件,教学行为是教师质量的外在表现,它们相互作用,构成教师质量整体。
Teachers of higher education are academic professionals who are engaged in teaching, research and social service. They characterize themselves by producing advanced knowledge, valuing academic freedom and taking teaching responsibility. Teacher’s quality of higher education consists of four levels. The core level is the concept that teachers hold about education. The basic level is the care teachers take about student development. The third level is teachers’ scholarship that enables them to perform tasks. The fourth level is the behavior expressed by teachers teaching performance. All of these four elements interact with each other.
