The fi ve-year plan has played a very important role in the process that the Communist Party of China leads the Chinese people to create a Chinese-style modernization road. On the basis of following Marx and Engels thought of “planned social production” and drawing on the successful experience of the Soviet Union in promoting national industrialization with the fi ve-year plan, the Communist Party of China has embarked on a new Chinese-style modernization road with the five-year plan. Based on sorting out the course of the CPC pioneers Chinese-style modernization road, we summarize its basic experience: Adhering to the overall leadership of the Party; Adhering to the planning concept of “planning for the people”; Adhering to our own path, sublating the logic of capitalist modernization and the traditional logic of Soviet modernization.
