在数字经济时代,架构创新成为企业市场竞争的战略制高点,但是产品架构和组织架构之间的关系逐渐从镜像关系走向雾化关系。为推动双层架构共演创新,本文以钱德勒的战略与结构理论、核心能力理论和意义建构理论为基础,以数字技术导向和组织正念的协同关系为切入点,构建了产品架构创新和组织架构创新的前因模型。本文采用问卷法对 683 家制造企业进行调查,通过多项式回归和响应面模型对样本数据进行实证分析。结果发现数字技术导向和组织正念对制造企业产品和组织双层架构创新具有正向影响。同时,数字技术导向和组织正念的关系趋于一致时,“高-高”组合对产品架构创新和组织架构创新的正向影响大于“低-低”组合。数字技术导向和组织正念的关系趋于不一致时,“高-低”组合对产品架构创新和组织架构创新的正向影响大于“低-高”组合。此外,动态能力在数字技术导向、组织正念的协同关系和双层架构创新之间起到了部分中介效应。研究结论丰富了战略选择理论和战略实施理论对架构创新的解释,为企业产品架构和组织架构的创新管理提供了实践启示。
In the era of the digital economy, architectural innovation has become a strategic imperative for enterprises to compete in the market. However, the relationship between product architecture and organizational architecture has gradually shifted from a mirroring relationship to a more nebulous and decoupled confi guration. To promote co-evolutionary innovation in duallayer architectures, this study integrates Chandler’s strategy-structure theory, core competence theory, and sensemaking theory, with a focus on the synergy between digital technology orientation (DTO) and organizational mindfulness (OM). It develops an antecedent model for product architectural innovation and organizational architectural innovation. Using questionnaire data from 683 manufacturing enterprises, polynomial regression and response surface analysis were employed to empirically test the hypotheses. Key fi ndings include: Both DTO and OM positively infl uence dual-layer architectural innovation(product architectural innovation and organizational architectural innovation). When DTO and OM are aligned, the “high-high” alignment exerts stronger positive eff ects on product architectural innovation and organizational architectural innovation than the “low-low” alignment. When DTO and OM are misaligned, the “high DTO-low OM” confi guration demonstrates greater positive impacts on product architectural innovation and organizational architectural innovation than the “low DTO-high OM” confi guration. Dynamic capabilities partially mediate the synergistic relationship between DTO-OM alignment and dual-layer architectural innovation. This research enriches strategic choice theory and strategy implementation theory in explaining architectural innovation. It off ers actionable insights for enterprises to manage product and organizational architectural innovation in dynamic environments.
